With the UK set for the busiest internet shopping day of the year, there’s never been a more important time to get online, especially if your business is retail.
Here at Kariba our design and development team have given some local businesses the best possible start by creating slick online shops that deliver great results.
Our latest achievements include a stunning website for posh Harrogate dress shop Snooty Frox (http://www.snootyfroxonline.co.uk); a striking site for a fresh new children’s clothing brand, Kiss Katch (http://www.kisskatch.co.uk) and a mouth-watering online presence for the British Premium Sausage Company (http://www.britishpremiumsausages.co.uk).
Coupled with our own sales generating email marketing system, KaribaMail, these great forward thinking businesses are all ready to reel in the pounds as Christmas approaches.
If you would like to achieve similar success online please feel free to phone Kariba Chris on 01423 876351 or email him at chris@kariba.co.uk
At last weekend’s Home and Renovating Show in Harrogate, Kariba helped a local construction firm, York Builder, secure sales leads worth over £4million.
To assist in creating such outstanding success, our creative team designed some stunning 2meter high exhibition panels that would attract potential prospects and then the York Builder crew handed out gorgeous roll-fold brochures that mirrored the theme and style displayed on the panels, promoting a feeling of professionalism and credibility.
Says York Builder MD, Clive Scotter: The exhibition stand and brochure you designed were a great success. They offered something new and refreshing and clients and public alike were very impressed. Given you had only three weeks to turn this entire package around is an incredible achievement. Many thanks for the enthusiasm, dedication and professionalism of all the Kariba team.”
Only two months after Kariba was commissioned to boost the Google rankings of Harrogate’s Arden House Hotel website, our SEO team have delivered first page placements for three of the most searchable phrases – resulting in a massive 230% increase in website traffic.
To achieve such significant results in such a short period of time Kariba’s website developers literally took the old Arden House site apart and recoded it from the ground up using tried and tested SEO that Google finds attractive. Kariba also took over the hosting of the website. As of yesterday (November 14 2011) the Arden House website ranked on Google’s first page for such searchable phrases as “accommodation in Harrogate” and “Guest house Harrogate.”
Says Kariba Chris: “It just goes to show that if a website is built incorporating the latest SEO techniques and measured using freely available tools such as Google Analytics and Webmaster Tools, results can be achieved quite quickly, even in competitive areas such as the Harrogate accommodation sector. ”
No wonder Jodie is looking pleased with herself. At Monday’s Yorkshire Business Market in Harrogate, Kariba’s seasonal take on the Grow Your Business theme received a nomination for ‘Best Medium-sized’ stand’. Featuring a colourful and Spring-like ‘beanstalk’ intertwined with our key word offerings – Wonderful Websites, Beautiful Brochures, Successful Social Media etc – the stand also featured an animated presentation of our website work. Passers by, enraptured by what they saw, also received a ‘matching’ Grow Your Business brochure and Show Discounts leaflet.
Since Monday’s exhibition we’ve been busy following up leads ranging from a complete re-brand to some rather nifty website builds. It just shows, ‘you’ve got to be in it to win it!’
When Kariba’s creative director, Chris, heard that his father (Alan) was in danger of losing his job in the motor industry, the family rallied round and came up with a new business proposition for him. Chris realised there was a market for computer support for people over the age of 50 from someone who was IT proficient, such as Alan, but also spoke the same non-techy style of language. After a lot of thinking – largely over a steaming Shepherd’s Pie one Sunday afternoon, Chris’s Mum, Elaine, came up with the new name for the business, PapaPC. A day or so later and PapaPC had a stunning visual identity designed by Kariba Stu, web hosting and email and a lovely advert placed in one of the local ‘doorstep’ style directories.
